Johnson State College Professor Frederick Wiseman discusses the Champlain Baseline Project's archaeological, material culture and documentary research for the recreation of the "best guess" 1609 period clothing, arms, armour, transportation, and ceremonial regalia for Samuel de Champlain and his first Nation guides. The video is meant to consider the discovery of Lake Champlain from a native perspective.
